Magic: The Gathering Trading Card Game Announces Sponsorship of Top BattleBot Builder
Yup, they are talking about me.
I am totally stoked about my new sponsor. I have been playing Magic since
early 1994 and try to get a game in with my friends every couple weeks. Then
one day I get a call asking if I would mind being sponsored by Wizards of the
Coast and if it's not too much trouble could you build us your dream battle bot?
Like that decision took awhile!

Wow! Did you see the Minion/Ogre fight last night?
Close fight, 23-22.
There's a lesson here.
Even if you dominate most of a match and damage your opponent you
can still almost loose the fight based on the last 30 seconds. Fortunately,
Minion won despite Ogre's last minute pin. Unfortunately, Comedy Central
decided not to show our exit interview where we congratulate Team Ogre for
making such a tough robot. I guess we're suppose to be the bad guys.
Finally, I want to thank Minion's new driver, Brian Roe, for
keeping his cool and driving Minion to another victory!
